Today on Kelly’s Korner, her Friday link up, is Mom’s with Teens….I’ve never found a category that fit me….at least one that I was sure I could identify with …until now. 

I’ve got 2 teens, plus one pre-teen AND the (surprise) 3 year old.

So if you’re coming over from KK, welcome.  This blog is my brain dump, the good and the bad.

Things have been very crazy busy in the Dub house.  Crash had his knee surgery on Tuesday.  Everything went really well…

See that light purple smudge?  That KNOT right above it is the bone tumor (osteochondroma).  The purple letter looking thing up on his thigh..those are actually the surgeons initials.  they do that in pre op so they make sure they are working on the correct leg. 

 

And here he is waiting for the show to start.  (Yeah, I know, all the signs that say turn off your cell phones and he gets to have his computer, hooked up to wi-fi!  What the heck?)

And being wheeled into surgery…

After surgery…..looking a little stoned…haha.

So, now he recuperates.  Ten days on crutches and six weeks NO activity other than walking (once he’s off the crutches.)   Yep, no soccer of any kind.  No running, jumping, skipping, hopping, kicking, or anything like an activity. 

All in all, it went well.  He’s being a trooper…and so are his The ns because brothers and sister.  They are helping him and getting him things.  Pain meds are keeping him comfortable at night….

Everyone else has been really good this week.  I’ve had to work most all week because of soccer tryouts.  Big 3 have been really good about helping with Bubba. 

Now off to regionals for Pootie…..

Bubba is doing the warm ups with Pootie team…now ya have to love that the big boys are 15 year olds…and they just include him and keep on moving…
